MANIFESTATIONS

Agorà, Art in the Square, is an event that takes place in August on the streets of the city's historical center, in a location where they are exposed works of painting, sculpture and photography, selected by a committee. On the way bands entertain visitors with their performances.

In early September each year the association Musicateatro organizes three consecutive evenings at the gardens Lowe jazz and blues. Each year are guest in this exhibition the most famous Italian and international singers. The Jazz and Blues Festival has become a landmark in the national calendar of musical genre.

The non-competitive running race is organized by the "Risveiu Burdigotu" and takes place in May during the celebrations of patron St. Ampelio. Develops starting from Bordighera and tapping Sasso, and Vallebona Borghetto San Nicolò trip to Bordighera in the old country, for a distance of about fifteen kilometers.

It takes place in Piazza del Popolo in Bordighera on Saturday eight days before Easter. It's the demonstration of the work of "parmureli", with the possibility of participation of visitors. It's organizated by the "Risveiu Burdigotu".

Organized by "Gruppo Nuovo 900" and the Pro Loco di Sasso, is a painting competition open to all, held in the village of Sasso in the first days of August.
Prizes for the first three classified, whose works will remain of ownership of the For Place of Sasso and you insert in the Art Gallery.

Organized for a Saturday and Sunday in summer, the Club Nautico Bordighera which provides free their equipment and their members to prove to anyone you like the thrill of a trip at sea on a sailboat or on a yacht. Who may want to try the speed of a motorboat, or a peaceful canoe. You can also venture to go underwater with the cylinders.
